Highlights of our trip included enjoying crazy weather changes - one day it was over 70, other days 40s and 50s and windy! Tyler got to wear a warm hat and mittens for the first time!
We also visited a cider mill/apple orchard
Tyler met my aunt's dogs. He has met dogs before but I guess not spent so much time with barking ones - he cried when one of the dogs woofed at him, Bernie hopes that he mans up soon :)
Here is Tyler all bundled up for a walk - Tyler has never ever liked to be swaddled/bundled/not able to get to his hands so we were shocked that he rode the whole way like this without even attempting to get out of it, he must have really been cold! I love how his drool looks kind of like an icicle in this picture.
And this picture I just think is so funny with Cady (the dog) licking her lips next to Tyler's face like "Mmm....yummy baby."
Of course Tyler also carved his first pumpkin!
I didn't believe in spending much money on a costume for him since we didn't plan to take him trick-or-treating, so I bought him a pumpkin shirt in the $1 spot at Target.
Just one snafu in the trip - Tyler's car seat did not make it on the plane on the way home. I was really worried about how we were going to drive home illegally with him on our laps until when reporting our lost piece of luggage they offered us a loaner car seat (and a $25 voucher for future flight). Guess it must be a common enough occurrence.
5 MONTH UPDATE
Tyler turned 5 months old October 28, the day we left for Michigan. He now can put his foot in his mouth (a very important milestone right?). We just relocated our coffee table to the closet under the stairs so he can have the whole family room floor to roll around on. He now scooches slightly with his butt up in the air but has yet to raise himself up on his arms. And we are trying to practice sitting although it is quite difficult because he loves standing so much, he almost always pushes up into a standing position.
We are still doing cereal in the evenings although it seems to have made no difference in his sleep habits. He usually still gets up sometime around 1 or 2 although last night was a miracle when he didn't even have any cereal and slept til 4:30am - woohoo!!!

You guys are so brave taking Tyler on an airplane. It almost makes me think that we could take a trip back to Ohio - hmmm...
Take care lady!
That is quite a pumpkin carved by a 5 month old! Go Tyler!
Cute post, and looks like a fun trip!
I am so jealous of all the things you ate/did at the cider mill/apple orchard. Looks like a great trip.
P.S. I didn't see this post until today because your blog isn't updating on my list. Stupid blogger. I don't see how this could be a problem.
